Visita a la bodega BadMan Wines

Historia de la bodega:

Bodega creada en 2016 por Simbad Romero y Manuel Carrizosa, dos amigos sevillanos que comparten vida desde los 4 años. Después de finalizar sus estudios de enología, emprendieron juntos una aventura que les duró 10 años donde viajaron y vivieron en distintas ciudades del mundo (Australia, Italia, Sudamérica, Argentina, Nueva Zelanda…) con la intención de conocer las diferentes formas de trabajo de cada lugar además de adquirir una visión más amplia de la viticultura y todo esto con el generoso fin de ofrecernos algo nuevo y fresco a la Serranía de Ronda. 

Han trabajado individualmente con profesionales de renombre internacional en numerosas bodegas permitiendoles adquirir una dilatada experiencia para así 2016 emprender juntos su proyecto personal.

El nombre de la bodega responde al juego de palabras de unir el final de Simbad con el inicio de Manuel (simBADMANuel). Actualmente tienen sus instalaciones en una bodega adherida al hotel La Perla Blanca a unos 3 Km. de Ronda.

Descripción de la visita:

La visita comienza en la entrada de la bodega, justo enfrente de uno de los viñedos con los que cuenta la finca. Aquí se explicará la historia de la producción de vinos en la Serranía de Ronda, así como la historia sobre la bodega y sus fundadores. Daremos un paseo por el viñedo explicando los distintos trabajos de viticultura realizados. Después, caminaremos hasta la bodega donde explicaremos de manera dinámica el proceso de elaboración del vino finalizando con la cata de estos vinos acompañada de productos de la Serranía de Ronda.

Winery created in 2016 by Simbad Romero and Manuel Carrizosa, two friends from Seville since they were 4 years old. After finishing their studies in oenology, they undertook an adventure together that lasted 10 years where they traveled and lived in different cities of the world (Australia, Italy, South America, Argentina, New Zealand ...) with the intention of learning the different ways of working in the wine production in each place in addition to acquiring a broader vision of viticulture, and all this with the generous aim of offering us something new and fresh to the Serranía de Ronda.

They have worked individually with internationally renowned professionals in numerous wineries, allowing them to acquire extensive experience allowing them in 2016 undertake their personal project together.

The name of the winery responds to the play on words of joining the end of Simbad with the beginning of Manuel (simBADMANuel). They currently have their facilities in a winery attached to the La Perla Blanca hotel about 3 km from Ronda.

Description of the visit:

The visit begins at the entrance of the winery, right in front of one of the vineyards that the estate has. Here the history of wine production in the Serranía de Ronda will be explained, as well as the history of the winery and its founders. We will take a walk through the vineyard explaining the different viticulture works carried out. Afterwards, we will walk to the winery where we will dynamically explain the wine-making process ending with a tasting of these wines accompanied by products from the Serranía de Ronda.
